I founded and created Nomad Fly Fishing, a brand of composite landing nets. Before Nomad, fly fishing nets were made out of wood and consistently breaking. Nomad was a one man show that I ran out of my house and started with a small loan from my Grandmother. I handled all product design, branding, development, operations, and sales. The nets were unlike anything on the market and an immediate success. I ran Nomad for 3 years selling online and through 40 independent retailers. I sold Nomad to Fishpond, Inc in 2013 to gain as much distribution as possible.
As of this writing the Nomad line has 9 frames and multiple colors per frame.

For a years I wanted to create an ad for Nomad using a pig in a net. Trout in nets don’t quite grab your attention in the same way.
The latest and greatest Nomad net. Covered in an out layer of Kevlar and Carbon fiber weave for added toughness, also just looks badass.
